Mirror

$3,600.00
sold out

Mirror

120 x 120 cm

Watercolour on canvas

Artwork statement:

In a world where humans have separated themselves from nature, Mirror is an invitation to reconnect; to stare beyond the eyes of the tiger into the soul, reflecting that we are all nature’s beings. While the Year of the Tiger (2022) symbolises courage, willpower, and respect, this watercolour urges us to look deeper: to question our own part in nature.

The silent stare of this tiger asked me to raise hope, awareness, and a voice for his endangered species. Captured in this piece is his reminder; the possibility of change rests on our courage to believe change is possible.
