Northern Beaches Art Residency

I was lucky enough to be one of the artists given an empty retail store to share my art making process in real time with the local community. The Beaches Art Residency at Westfield Warringah Mall was created thanks to the support of the Brookvale Arts District (BAD). 

BAD are constantly raising the profile of local artists, as well as sharing what’s happening in creative industries and businesses in the industrial estate of Brookvale on Sydney's Northern Beaches. 

While in residency with fellow artists, Lara Allport, Jo Hoursley, Jessica Watts, Monique tyacke, I painted this whale tail. The photo was taken during a wonderful day whale watching with friends on a tiny zodiac off the shores of the Northern Rivers.
